Bedminster ON-SITE Drapery Care is privately owned and operated by Mitch Frieber of Bedminster, NJ. We provide in-home dry cleaning of window treatments and upholstery. We service all of Central and Northern NJ. We are fully insured, New Jersey state licensed and have all the major industry certifications.

Window Treatments

We come to your home or business and dry clean your custom window treatments right where they hang. This is the safest and most effective way to clean window treatments. We guarantee NO SHRINKAGE OR DAMAGE—even for delicate silks and satins. Our Fabricare Certification is the only one approved by Hunter Douglas for cleaning their delicate shades.

Upholstery

We use the same gentle process we use on window treatments to safely clean upholstery and other fabric items. These include fabric wall coverings, lampshades, oriental rugs, pool tables, table clothes, tapestries and throw rugs.

Mattresses

Do you sometimes wake up in the morning sneezing or coughing with runny eyes? Approximately 10% of adults are allergic to house dust mites, which reside in mattresses and pillows. As well, dust mites are thought to cause asthma in young children. We thoroughly remove dust mites from your mattresses so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Fabric Protectant/Fluorosolve™

We use Fluorosolve, a fluorocarbon-based, commercial grade fabric protectant, which is specially formulated for wool and other fine fabrics. Unlike many available products, which only guard against liquid spills (beading in commercials), fluorocarbon-based fabric protectants guard against liquid, dirt and grease, which help prevent accidental spills from becoming permanent stains.

GreenEarth®

Being on the very cusp of the latest technology, we use GreenEarth® dry cleaning solution, which is non volatile, non toxic and non hazardous. This liquid silicone-based solution breaks down into three natural components: sand, water and carbon dioxide. Green Earth is the only completely non-toxic dry cleaning solution available for drapery and upholstery cleaning and we must be licensed to use it. By choosing Green Earth, your drapes and upholstery will not “off-gas” into your home for the next one or two months following cleaning as would be the case with traditional, carbon-based dry cleaning solutions.

Cost

The cost to have your window treatments cleaned is a small fraction of what it would cost to have them replaced. Why buy new when there is a good chance your window treatments can be looking like new by simply having them cleaned professionally.
